WHY Ordered Chaos?

Pied Beauty by Gerard Manley Hopkins:

GLORY be to God for dappled things—
  For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow;
    For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim;
Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings;
  Landscape plotted and pieced—fold, fallow, and plough;
    And áll trádes, their gear and tackle and trim.

All things counter, original, spare, strange;
  Whatever is fickle, freckled (who knows how?)
    With swift, slow; sweet, sour; adazzle, dim;
He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change:
                  Praise him.

Life is a dappled beauty — perfectly imperfect. We, God's children, are chaos, full of potential and designed as such, for much. God makes us unique, offers us a role in His story and helps write something awe-inspiring and exhilarating out of the mess we make. We are all ordered chaos ... and, for me, that truth is freedom. Free to be me.

WHO is Ordered Chaos?

I'm just a thirty-something Florida girl. I love life, my husband, my friends, my family, music, activity (running!) and adventure (traveling!). I believe in the power of words, potential, the possibility of change, and the need to "just dance" and GET OUTSIDE and GET WILD. I trust Jesus. Everything else about me regarding thought, interests, and purpose is directly related to all the above and encompassed in the last.

Beyond that, I'm slowly making my way into the world of mental health professionals — writing about it here. In addition, I am a freelance copywriter, available for employ here. I typeset, too.

Jill-of-all-trades or maybe none at all? You decide. :)

Disclaimer: This is my personal blog. My mind dump. It's messy. I'm messy. I claim no authority on anything (or anyone) but myself. The blog reflects that. It's often a catch-all for random and sometimes a soapbox for specifics. I don't take myself too seriously, so I beg you to do the same!
